MTE-280 Model Train Elevator - Upper-Level Storage

The PROSES MTE-280 Single-Platform Model Train Elevator – Upper-Level Storage is designed to move complete trains from the main layout level to fixed storage shelves positioned above the layout.

The train enters the elevator directly from the layout. The platform then moves upward and aligns with the selected storage shelf, allowing the complete train to move directly onto the corresponding storage track.

This system makes excellent use of otherwise unused vertical wall space and provides an efficient way to store complete trains without handling locomotives and rolling stock by hand.

Touchscreen Controller

The elevator is operated through a dedicated touchscreen control unit, making it easy to select, program and fine-adjust each storage level.

How It Works

Layout Level → Train Enters Elevator → Elevator Moves Up → Selected Storage Shelf

The elevator aligns with the required storage track, allowing the train to move directly from the platform onto the fixed shelf.

The train remains on the track throughout the process, reducing handling and making complete train storage much easier.

Vertical Storage Without Taking Up Layout Space

The main advantage of this system is that the storage shelves are positioned above the layout, making use of available wall space without increasing the footprint of the railway.

Several fixed storage shelves can be installed at different heights, with the elevator providing access to each one.
