MTE-900 Multi-Platform Model Train Elevator / Lift

The PROSES Multi-Platform Model Train Elevator is designed to store complete model trains on multiple moving shelves and bring the selected train directly to your main layout level.

Instead of handling locomotives and rolling stock individually, simply select the required storage shelf, align it with the layout track, and run your train onto the layout. The system makes efficient use of available space while keeping complete train consists ready for use.

Storage capacity: Up to 18 trains, depending on train dimensions

Storage tracks: Two parallel tracks per shelf

Programmable Touchscreen Controller

The elevator is operated through a dedicated touchscreen controller, allowing you to select, program and precisely adjust each storage position.

How It Works

Select a Storage Shelf → Elevator Aligns with the Layout → Run Your Train onto the Layout

All storage shelves move together as one guided assembly. The selected shelf aligns with the main layout track, allowing the train to move directly from storage onto your railway without handling it by hand.

Lift Mechanism and Construction

Two stepper motors drive precision ball screws positioned on the left and right sides of the mechanism. Three vertical linear guides keep the reinforced moving frame aligned, while electromagnetic brakes hold the mechanism when motor power is removed.

The system has been developed and tested with the additional weight of multiple shelves and stored trains in mind.

Assembly and Installation

Although we have designed the system to make assembly as straightforward as possible, some basic mechanical experience is recommended.

Only simple tools, such as a spirit level and screwdriver, are required for the intended assembly.

Careful alignment, accurate leveling and secure fastening of all components are essential for smooth, precise and reliable operation.

Taking the time to properly align and adjust the system during installation will make a significant difference to its performance and long-term reliability.

Custom Configurations

The 9-shelf, 200 cm version is our current configuration. Different platform lengths, numbers of shelves and scale-specific arrangements can be considered upon request.
